Sin bringeth the Law which means one may have to go through the Fire for purification and/or anointment, or repent and enter the water of baptism, to be washed clean, forgiven and be "Saved," entering into His Rest and the Way Everlasting. If one cannot and is unable to flee from sin and walk in the Way, one must go through the flames of purification, which means one's Relationship with God undergoes a change. One can no longer accept God in His Pure and undefiled Form of Being/Spirit into their "temple" or body. The direct fellowship and communication is broken. The understanding is marred or impared and the creature must be bridled else destroyed. Going through the Fire means separation and anxiety to say the least, which frequently hardens a man's heart and spirit against God's Holy Spirit. In either case, one may still receive the Gift which is freely bestowed upon all.
Through Mormon Scripture, which often errs, one may get the idea that all must go through the fire to receive the Holy Ghost, but such is not so which can be clearly seen by the example set by Christ. Fire visits the disobedient, the Holy Ghost visits all and remains with the Chosen and elect and "saved."
The Law preserveth. It does not wax old nor decay. It is Perfect and so are we when we are able to keep It, but we don't and we do get old and weary and denial and delusion often set in and deliver us from fear for brief periods of time, yet if we put on Faith, Charity and the Hope of Our eventual Salvation, doubting nothing, we can endure with Love and Devotion all things and live in Truth, admitting our faults and sins and being made worthy in Him.
Jam 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
This is especially urgent for so-called Christians who imagine the Law defunct and that they are saved by saying some man made prayer and "welcoming Jesus into their hearts." If Jesus had entered any of these people's hearts, their hearts would be utterly destroyed and they would know that they never belonged to Him.
On the other hand, or rather paw, the beautiful thing about Christians is that no matter how wrong and violently sinful they maybecome during their sojourn in the wilderness of sin and separation, they never really take upon themselves the spirit of the world and always recognize and pay obeisance and show devotion to those who have overcome with Him, because as hard and dark as they may become they truely love God, though their sense of humor is often most perverse and sometimes cruel, they concede to His Sovereignty in all matters and in all they try to do or get caught trying to get away with.
"Balls" don't come until after the Fall and therefore really aren't balls at all...I speak of the "Family Jewels;" the "Secrets."
If a man hath the courage to be meek, humble and loving towards his fellows, his Secrets are probably pretty hefty indeed and are the envy of the entire tribe.

Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Jam 1:19-20 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
There is no nobility quite like unto modesty, devotion, purity, and charity, all touched with eager, zealous, self-abasement(which is NOT humiliation!). To be rejected of the world is to be rich in Christ. When the Lord "brings the LORD" He does so to show from whence His Authority comes from, not to puff himself up, but to show his undeniable right to reign, yet unmistakable reluctance to "Lord it over anyone" or to be crowned King. The fact that he does not wish to reign, ought and doth often prompt even his enemies toward becoming desirous to be under His Divine Yoke. It's the Yoke of the Miraculous which makes enduring anything easier.
Nobody likes looking foolish, yet certainly, there is nothing more foolish looking in all of Creation at present than the American Male. He has no honor, dignity, divine understanding, real natural strength, charm, class, etc. And it is because he is unwilling to use Jesus as a role model. Opting instead for a male actor in a beer commercial. The Whore has won, yet Ultimate Victory belongeth to the LORD.
Remember the "runt" of the litter? His name be Mephibosheth.
2Sa 9:8, 10-11, 13 And he bowed himself, and said, What [is] thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I [am]?
Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in [the fruits], that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table.
Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, [said the king], he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.
Invited to the king's table, no less! Lame and afflicted as he was...worthy!
It is time to become men in earnest. Admit your folly and deny the Whore even while part of her body. Fight against your urges and base reactions. Admit defeat and you may win. Those who have been made "strong" by allegiance to her are wasting the strength and using it to corrupt that which is truly strong and remain corrupted themselves. Those who are supposedly "weak" are being ridiculed and with their reaction, waste the Grace of Christ. Rats take any and all advantage of an upperhand. Only Christ will enable one ridiculed and embarrassed to turn the tables and make circumstance profit the "victim" and imprison or justly punish the victimizer. Rats want the guilty to go free and the just condemned, not realizing that this desire condemns them everlastingly. They have been doing so with uncommon zeal and success in this Age in America, bringing down Saints and Lionizing the vilest, because men were caught nodding off, with their pants around their ankles watching a football game, wondering where their wives had gone and how come their beer was warm, though they had presciently used a koozie. Yet, America was accepted and protected by God's Spirit because She was concerned with Justice and at least admiring and enjoying vicariously, and at her best encouraging and enabling the multitude of Gifts bestowed upon the Sons of God and the Blessed quality of Innocence and Holiness they Unnaturally channel into Creation. But Evil and Tyranny cloaked in pretentious posturing has enabled the lowest form of decrepit hatred to lead lambs down an abominable road to Hell.
Only honest hatred and intolerance of all She has come to stand for will force a real change and not more bulldung, deception and empty promises luring and corrupting the Divine Right within the Children of God in our midst to fulfill the will of the evil one and the childish egos of "men" in government.
2Sa 10:12 Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good.
Alma 46:12 And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece thereof, and wrote upon it--In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children—and he fastened it upon the end of a pole.
Men do not go to war because they love war. They go to war because they HATE evil. And children of God ought to be made to realize that these men are victims, captive beasts without freewill but with a choice and deserve no more recognition than acknowledgement of having a righteous heart that would choose the Right, however wrong the Right has become. It's when they turn it all into a prideful circus show that is more evil than the evil they meant to rout, that it becomes impossible to Justify on a Divine Level and therefore will not see further success and will turn on itself and "cave" and self-destruct.
2 Samuel 2:26 Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
All this, this whole bogus nation within Our Nation, this grand facade, this cauldron of hatred some call a "melting pot;" all meticulously constructed to destroy the Holy Child within any and every last male child in America.
No need to wonder why the LORD went about destroying nations who threatened His Children and Chosen Ones. We've become one of those nations probably because we fell and have had to fight off those nations. Dealing with the wicked, makes one wicked. Standing firm in and for Christ makes one righteous.
Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Jhn 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
My God! We're force feeding our children to the Evil One. We can't shovel them into the Grave fast enough!
If men wish to be remembered as men who meant something to the American Child within us all, we must CARE and be HUMBLE. We must suppress and deny our inner beast . We must become the Innocence we wish to bring out, nuture and honor in our children at every opportunity and use our inner beast to destroy that which threatens this possibility and devotion to divinity.
You are called now to be shepherds and shepherds you will be, no matter how absurd that may seem to a world gorging on technological overload. Such a decision and Way will make useful and prosperous the technology being gifted us but which we often make sure shall be useless to all. We were cunning enough to invade a foreign country and make it seem like an auspicious decision with a like outcome, but it was a desperate attempt to preserve a Union that is strained and has grown increasingly unworthy apace with the sins of our Nation.
The Only Way to Truly Strengthen Our Nation is to form a New Union in Christ. Christendom must be born at once and with all due intolerance and hatred for anything that threatens It. This ship called America is going down, and if we hope to preserve our lives and the lives of our children, we must bail and make provisions for those who would Sail on a New Sea, in a New Ship made of, by and for Christ and Jews/Christians.
Believe and Receive. The LORD has already made the Way, all you have to do is look and see and follow Him.
Where to look? In the Book.
1Sa 12:14-15 If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as [it was] against your fathers.
2Ki 25:24 And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.
Jer 27:6,17 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
When Israel failedto be obedient, they lost their freedom. Their Liberty was LONG gone, but they were still scrapping it out for "freedom," it was only a matter of time till the world caught on and Israel was taken anew into captivity. The LORD preserved their Freedom by setting the King of Babylon over them. Things were hard, but we new we deserved every lick, and we were at least conscience of being on the Road back to Glory and Him and His Kingdom. The King of Babylon was/is not a nice guy, but he is anointed and easier to face than the LORD or the Evil One.
And much better than Pharoah's rule, though he also was anointed and chosen to oppress Israel. We will never receive more than our due comeuppance...and some of us, you know who you are, deserve quite a bit of maltreatment it is sad to say.
Setting the King of Babylon over Israel was merciful because the LORD was making a Way to Preserve what matters within the Kingdom. Israel, now filthy and rejected, had a purpose at least and if they could not obey God at least they could obey the King of Babylon or suffer worse, and they know what that "worse" is.
Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily [sacrifice], and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
This again is when we find out what people are made of and who has a superior spirit and strength of will and why. Not that any have reason to boast of anything at all, but that we find those who love God receive the strength and will to endure all to the Glory of God.
Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
True Liberty is too much for man. It will never endure until sin is vanquished and all mankind "saved" and made incorruptible. Until the last soul knows Salvation, we will have chaos and strife.
Jhn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
We had reached the Promised Land long ago, and yet we failed to enter, and then when we did, we did the abominable and thought we could "improve" on God's Plan and Design. Whether in Law, Pratice, Faith or simple Worship, we took the reigns from out of God's Hand and each went in his own direction, failing to keep the Unity and sacrificing the Peace and Providence of Our Father. Through much hardship, the disciples of Paul did not enter the Kingdom, nor did they need to endure such to enter. They needed to return to Him and walk in the Way Easy. They needed Faith and Patience and the ability to look and see. Instead, they went the hard way and produced works of evil that helped them endure evil. Now they imagine themselves wiser than God, and will be damned if they wont show Him up. This produced the Roman Catholic Church and Its Papal Absurdity, and now it has produced the WWW and it's many abominations.
When Israel was denied the will and power to enter the promised land, it was His Will. They were not ready. They did not believe and the generation that left Egypt had to die off to rid the new of old superstitions and error, as they honed all their ability and will power to understand the Scriptures and the Spiritual Truths and Wisdom that would enable them to see where God was leading and when He was not, and why and why not...They were becoming "babes," thirsty for pure spiritual "milk." Trial and Error, trial and error...success! Backsliding, more trial and error, success, pride, failure, back and forth, in and out, etc.
The generation that left Egypt were not always the "strong and the brave" though they boasted of being so. Like dumb animals, they had grown accustomed to hard knocks and figured their ways of dealing with these was knowledge or wisdom and this produced an evil pride that has always been with us since the Fall, and our first coverings were made for us...We left the garden and did not know how to get back in...There was no Way. We needed animal coats to keep us warm, we needed to work, and deal with lots of problems, and this too only built upon our pride.
This generation, was always willing to war but would never lay down their lives for anyone. And they desperately tried to lead any they could back to Egypt to perish with them. They did not think ahead. Did not know what endurance was for. They simply endured. These are still mixed in amongst us, they are they who have lost the right to be parents and grandparents and it's hard but if they wish to retain the rights and privledges of Christendom, they must submit to a different and much Higher Authority than US Government, which is locked in Egypt/Debt/Pride/Stubborness/Guilt/Agressive Competiveness/The Inability to Forgive and Be Forgiven...
Deu 1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Egypt lived on in many a heart, the lingering apostatical longing for produced Babylon and a rod of wickedness that has been with us ever since. And it has become impossible for those who enforce it to escape this service without somehow losing who they are or what they have become in the process. So many sacrifices have been made on both sides, it seems an impossibility to to judge and reward or punish aright.
And on the other hand, the Faithful and the Just, who entered the Promiseland, did so with a soul and understanding forever marred and perverted by its inability to fully trust and follow the LORD, which is understandable as the LORD's Ways are truly mysterious and too awesome to hope to imitate. The only One to really enter the Promiseland, as a New Creation, was and is, the LORD, Himself.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
The LORD created the Door and Is the Door and Opened It for Himself.
How did the LORD enter?
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Exd 29:45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
Num 18:20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I [am] thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.
Deu 1:39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither,and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
Those who misheard Paul or through Paul's own misunderstanding stumbled on the stumbling block they meant to reveal or hide? Was Paul becoming a disciple who would not allow children to approach the Messiah?
1Cr 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
Becoming a man of God is infinitely differently than becominga "man of the world." A man of God may seem foolish and even insane when touched by the Spirit of Prophecy and Revelation, touched by the Hand of the Almighty.
Street people, rejects of society, mental ward patients. These are they most often touched with more spiritual guidance, power and insight than rabbis, priests, idols, artisans, politicians, architects, athletes, demagogues, kings, royalty, etc.
1Cr 1:27-29 God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:That no flesh should glory in his presence.
Mad frustrating, aint it?
Israel had this mark against them going in...They had failed the One who delivered them though they gained a blessing from Moses when they did well, they would too often backslide again, the guilt of which they carried around in the dessert and into the promised land. And some begrudged God and still do to this day. None had the nobility of Moses, who received the pronouncement that he would not be allowed to enter the Promised Land matter-of-factly.
Deu 1:37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
Deu 4:21-22 Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance:
But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.
What strength! What dignity! He just let go...
Deu 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Controlled Chaos is what the Devil desires. Catalogue the Universe. Cage everyone and everything, tag it and bag it...Abominable!
Jer 31:37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
God Desires a Natural, Peaceful, Graceful State of Being. Classical, even predictable Spiritual Growth.
Exd 20:25b for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
Isa 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry [them] in his bosom, [and] shall gently lead those that are with young.
Because, let's face it, all Little Lords and Ladies ever really needed was someone to put a healthy meal upon their plates at least once a day and to instruct in righteousness by setting an example.
Jhn 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
1Ti 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Jam 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
3Ne. 18:16
And as I have prayed among you even so shall ye pray in my church, among my people who do repent and are baptized in my name. Behold I am the light; I have set an example for you.
D&C 88:130-131
And when he cometh into the house of God, for he should be first in the house—behold, this is beautiful, that he may be an example—
Let him offer himself in prayer upon his knees before God, in token or remembrance of the everlasting covenant.
